Ideas of where to take senior photos
I've lived in Kaysville 17 years. It's been where my kids have grown up and we call it home. I'm often asked where to have photos taken. Kaysville, Utah has a lot of unique places to have senior, family, maternity, or other photos.
Graduation time is here and you’re getting ready for the summer, college, work, travel, or what ever is coming next. Graduating high school is such a milestone in a senior’s life. Have photos to always remember the fun times, friends, and school you spent so much time at.
Davis High School
You can have some photos at the school for your senior session. There are a lot of cool places you can have photos taken.
Outdoors at school
In the front of the school is the big cement “D” kids like to climb and have in their photos.
By the front doors you can have photos and have the Davis High sign in the back, or not. The glass doors are a nice background and you can have the glass reflecting in the shot.
The auditorium is another backdrop you can use. Many hours are spent there in the theater for dramas, dance, and music concerts. Maybe you’re in the tech crew and want shots of where you’ve worked.
Indoors at school
If you’re into sports you can have photos at the stadium with your school uniform. Action shots of you playing your sport are fun too. By the track I’ve taken photos by the gold D, another Davis icon.
At the library, robotics room, music room, art room, or other rooms. Pick places that mean something to you.
At Work
Many high school seniors have after school jobs and maybe you want to have some lifestyle photos there. Maybe you’ll want to remember who you worked with and friends you made there.
Main Street
Along Kaysville’s Main Street it’s fun to have the brick wall background. You can also see the windows and carved doors for your shots. The ice cream shop, movie theater, and shops have a cute urban vibe.
As a graduating senior you'll want to remember your hometown, your high school, and friends you have here. Here are some fun places to have senior photos taken.
Gailey Trail
At Nicholl's road and Main Street in Kaysville the Gailey trail is a great spot to feel like you're in the woods. In the spring there is new green grass along the trail. The trail has bridges and a stream. It's beautiful all year long and in the fall has amazing yellow and orange leaves. Technically this is in Fruit Heights but part of the road is in Kaysville. Here are photos from the trail.
